At the end of the school year, RSA hosts an all-day event for our 4th graders, to celebrate their last days at Reed School. This is a fun-filled day that the entire grade looks forward to. Typically, a portion of the activities are held at school with an afternoon of fun at the Center of Clayton. This is also a great day for parents of 4th graders to volunteer!
Reed Elementary is hosting its First Inaugural live auction for parents! Panther Night is on April 21 at 6:30pm!
Every single dollar raised will go directly to support our outdoor facilities plan. Guy Phillips will be hosting the event with DJ Reggie providing the entertainment. Everything (food and drink) is included in the ticket price!
Bring your own dinner, beverages and a great sense of humor to this adults-only event, which is held at an off-site location. Sign up quickly for this popular event. You may coordinate your own table or let us assemble one for you. Either way, it’s a great way to socialize with other Reed parents.
Date: Friday, March 2nd
Location: Jewish Community Center in Creve Coeur
Theme: Children’s books
Celebrate the diversity of our Reed School community and learn about our world. More than 30 countries are typically represented during a week of internationally themed activities that culminated in a Friday night festival of food, music, art and costume. Let us know if you would like to represent your country of origin or help in promoting global awareness to our Reed School students.
This is Reed School’s field day with two teams (Blue and White) competing for bragging rights. Kids will be asked to wear either blue or white depending upon team assignment. RSA sells Reed School T-shirts the week before Panther Day. You may want to send blue/white washable paint for kids to apply to face and hair (or there’s always some on hand). The PE Department needs lots of volunteers… it’s particularly popular with dads!
Rain date: October 12, 2017
New this year! ReedBay is in September.
RSA’s biggest fundraiser of the year for Reed. This year, ReedBay will only include parent and kid parties as well as teacher/staff special experiences (principal for the day, reserved seating for school events, etc.) This will give parents and staff the entire school year to host their party or experience.
Bidding opens on Sep 14 and runs through Sep 18, 2017.
Visit www.reedschoolauction.com for all the details on ReedBay.
Insider's Tip: Some parties and events sell out very quickly. So if you or your child has your heart set on something, be sure to get online Sep 14 when the auction begins to secure your spot.
We need parent-sponsored parties for kids and parents as well as unique opportunities from teachers and staff to inspire a frenzy of online bidding. Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to co-host or volunteer to help support this important (and fun!) fundraising event.
Choose from a variety of enrichment activities offered after school, such as Hip Hop, gymnastics, Chess Club, Legos, Gardening, Art, and so much more. Programs are offered Mondays and Wednesdays for 8 weeks for 1 hour immediately after school.

Traditionally, a committee of parents from each grade will assemble to plan and host a parents-only social event that takes place during the first half of the school year. All parents from that grade level are invited to attend. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get to know the parents of your child’s classmates in a social setting.
