Celebrate the diversity of our Reed School community and learn about our world. More than 30 countries are typically represented during a week of internationally themed activities that culminated in a Friday night festival of food, music, art and costume. Let us know if you would like to represent your country of origin or help in promoting global awareness to our Reed School students.
Bring your own dinner, beverages and a great sense of humor to this adults-only event, with a different theme each year, held at an off-site location. You may coordinate your own table or let us assemble one for you. It’s a great way to socialize with other Reed parents!
This is Reed School’s field day with two teams (Blue and White) competing for bragging rights. Kids will be asked to wear either blue or white depending upon team assignment. RSA sells Reed School T-shirts the week before Panther Day. You may want to send blue/white washable paint for kids to apply to face and hair (or there’s always some on hand). The PE Department needs lots of volunteers… it’s particularly popular with dads
RSA’s biggest fundraiser of the year for Reed. This year, ReedBay will only include parent and kid parties as well as teacher/staff special experiences (principal for the day, reserved seating for school events, etc.) This will give parents and staff the entire school year to host their party or experience.
Visit www.reedschoolauction.com for all the details on ReedBay.
Insider's Tip: Some parties and events sell out very quickly. So if you or your child has your heart set on something, be sure to get online when the auction begins to secure your spot.
We need parent-sponsored parties for kids and parents as well as unique opportunities from teachers and staff to inspire a frenzy of online bidding. Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to co-host or volunteer to help support this important (and fun!) fundraising event.
Traditionally, a committee of parents from each grade will assemble to plan and host a parents-only social event that takes place during the first half of the school year. All parents from that grade level are invited to attend. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get to know the parents of your child’s classmates in a social setting.
Check the Weekly eMinder Newsletters for details and dates of individual grade-level Parent Parties.
Would you like to help plan or host your grade-level parent party? Please e-mail RSA at email@example.com or sign up at Community Day or the Welcome Back coffee).
